I agree as well but in this case she IS mixed ..Ms Mya Marie Harrison is African American and Italian..

people ask because her characteristics are associated with mixed heritage. not everyone who has those characterics are mixed (but a lot are), and some people who aren't mixed have them. but there's nothing wrong with being curious because of the association.
