Their process may be infamous among studio musicians, but you can see why the final guitar solo was chosen over the others

I'll have to put this DVD on my Christmas list. I love this kind of stuff.I was born in '71, so by the time I was discovering pop music, SD's original run was over. Van Halen was my favorite until college -- then I discovered the Dan and never looked back. Interesting parallel with the Beatles. Both started out as touring acts and basically quit after just 2-3 years to focus solely on studio.Greatest recording act of all time = Steely Dan.
